Frequently asked questions

Buying Blackmagic Design gear and DaVinci Resolve Studio in Australia — prices, delivery, licensing and support, answered plainly.

Pricing & buying

How much is DaVinci Resolve Studio in Australia?

DaVinci Resolve Studio costs A$435 including GST from mediaTITANS — that's below the A$469 RRP.

It's a one-off purchase, not a subscription. The licence covers one user and includes all future updates to DaVinci Resolve Studio at no extra cost. Available as an activation code delivered by email, on disk, or with a USB dongle for shared machines.

Where can I buy Blackmagic Design products in Australia?

mediaTITANS is an official Blackmagic Design authorised reseller based in Australia, supplying the full Blackmagic range with Australian stock and local support.

That includes ATEM live production switchers, DaVinci Resolve Studio licences and control panels, DeckLink and UltraStudio capture cards, Blackmagic cameras, Fairlight audio consoles, converters and monitoring. Everything is genuine product with Australian warranty.

Is mediaTITANS cheaper than buying direct?

Our standard pricing is 12.5% under RRP across the Blackmagic range.

For example, the ATEM Mini Pro is A$415 against a A$475 RRP, and the ATEM Mini Extreme ISO is A$ against A$. Larger and bulk orders receive additional consideration — ask for a quote.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept credit card and bank deposit (direct transfer), and we supply on purchase order for schools, TAFEs, universities and businesses.

Tax invoices are provided for all orders. Note that bank deposit orders are dispatched once payment clears.

DaVinci Resolve licensing

Is DaVinci Resolve Studio a subscription?

No. DaVinci Resolve Studio is a one-time purchase of A$435 with no ongoing fees.

Unlike subscription editing software, you own the licence permanently and receive future DaVinci Resolve Studio updates free.

What's the difference between DaVinci Resolve and DaVinci Resolve Studio?

The free version handles most editing; Studio adds the professional features — including noise reduction, higher-quality codecs, HDR grading tools, the full Fairlight audio suite, and multi-user collaboration.

Studio also supports resolutions and frame rates beyond the free version's limits, which matters for professional delivery.

How is the activation code delivered?

Activation codes are sent by email, usually within one business day of payment clearing.

You can also buy the licence on disk or with a USB dongle — the dongle version suits shared or rotating machines, since the licence travels with the dongle rather than being tied to one computer.
